Gianni Bartoletti comes from the tiny village of Rivera in Piemonte,
a bucolic northern region of Italy, in the Alps.
In his teens, Gianni graduated from the Enrico Maggia Culinary
School in Stresa, where he was educated in customer service and
the presentation of pure Italian food. Working his way through
Italy and Europe in restaurants and on cruise ships, Gianni further
refined his skills and his love of the business. He worked in
San Francisco's restaurant industry for over 10 years, before
establishing his own restaurant in San Ramon. His knowledge of
wines and ardor for superb cuisine has finally found a home in
Incontro Ristorante.
