The word “Incontro” means encounter, signifying the coming together of the cuisine from owner Gianni Bartoletti’s mountainous Northern Italian region of Piemonte and Southern Italian region of Puglia, on the Adriatic. Most importantly, our name refers to the bringing of our favorite dishes from home to you, here in the East Bay.
